Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers within a month of uploading her first video, she appeared in a game video made by PewDiePie. Taylor quit making videos on her Youtube channel after 2 months, and was close to 100,000 Subscribers. The reason for this was mostly due to technical issues related to the new equipment she was using, as well as her overwhelming popularity. Taylor began making videos following an absence of one month. The most popular was the well-known ASMR Ten Triggers To Help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views as of august 2022). In July 2017 she uploaded another very popular video ASMR 20 Triggers to Help You Sleep (38 million views as of August 2022). In August of 2017, Shane Dawson featured her during an interview. She also reached 1,000,000 subscribers shortly after. Wired UK calculated that she earned $1,000 per daily on her YouTube Channel from February to March 2019.

Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. The family's ancestry includes German, English. Swedish as well as Norwegian. She attended the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler located in Alberta. The three sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena were also employed by her on the family farm. Helfer was found at the age of 17 by a modeling agency scout as she waited in line for a movie theatre
